2023 Aurora Tech Award registration has started. The Aurora Tech Award is given annually to a woman founder of an IT startup whose work has had the most positive impact on global progress. The Aurora Tech Award was created to serve as a constant reminder that women represent 50% of the creative and intellectual potential of our civilisation. They have greatly benefited the world and have become the engine of development in many technological disciplines.

2023 Aurora Tech Award Requirements

• The prize is open to nominations from any woman who founded or co-founded a business in the last five years.
• The nominee’s company’s main offering must be based on information technologies.
• The candidate must be a C-level employee of the organisation at the time the application is made.

2023 Aurora Tech Award Prize:

• First prize: $30,000
• Second prize: $20,000
• Third prize: $10,000

The entrepreneurs will also have access to other possibilities including the inDrive mentorship programme in addition to the monetary award.

The findings are scheduled to be released on March 8, 2023. First place will receive a $30,000 prize, second place will receive $20,000, and third place will receive $10,000.

2023 Aurora Tech Award Nomination Procedure:

The prize is open to nominations from any woman who founded or co-founded a business in the last five years. The nominee’s company’s main offering must be based on information technologies. The candidate must be a C-level employee of the organisation at the time the application is made.

The nominee presentation consists of:

• The significant accomplishments of the candidate:
  A succinct bio describing any difficulties the candidate encountered while working on their startup and the skills that enabled her to overcome these problems.
• Successes of the startup: A thorough overview of the business, a list of its accomplishments, and an explanation of how the firm improves the world.
• The reason behind the nomination: A thorough justification of how the prize will improve the applicant’s, the business’s, or a particular community’s quality of life.

Timeline

Stage one: reception of applications

Applications will be received from October 3 to December 2, 2022.

Stage two: drawing up a shortlist for the award

The award committee will then select the twenty strongest applications. On February 28, the list will be published on the award’s website.

Stage three: Publication of the results

The judging panel selects the winners of the award. On March 8, the results of the Aurora Tech Award will be published.
