Today we will be talking about NITDA Scholarship 2023 registration,  Application is currently invited from suitably qualified candidates for NITDA Scholarship 2023. The National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA) in collaboration with Domineum Blockchain Solutions is announcing the launch of NITDA Blockchain Scholarship, 2023 Scheme. The program is aimed at training 30,000 Nigerians on blockchain technology for developing career skillset in the emerging technologies.

About NITDA

The National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA) is committed to implementing the National Digital economy policy for digital Nigeria. Their mandate is to create a framework for the planning, research, development, standardization, application, coordination, monitoring, evaluation and regulation of Information Technology practices in Nigeria.

The priorities of the Agency are Developmental Regulation, Digital Literacy and Skills, Solid Infrastructure, Service Infrastructure, Digital Services Development and Promotion, Software Infrastructure, Digital Society and Emerging Technologies & Indigenous Content Development and Adoption

Nigerian graduate students Application for NITDA

The National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA) has its mandate to develop and regulate Information Technology in Nigeria.

Developing and regulating Information Technology will support transforming Nigeria into an Information technology-driven economy for global competitiveness and the dire need for digital literacy.

The National Information Technology Development Agency has since 2010 established a scholarship scheme for Nigerian graduates in relevant areas of Information Technology (IT) and ICT Law obtainable in Nigerian Universities both privately owned and public universities

Deadline: 21st November 2023

the scholarship is Offered annually

basically for Nigeria to be taken in Nigerian (Government and Private) Universities.

Scholarship Description:

how to be eligible: The scholarship award is strictly based on merit and is evenly distributed among all the six geo-political zones of the country for the PhD, 36 States and FCT within the country for MSc.

Scholarship duration:

The sponsorship for the Master’s programme will run for one year and the Doctorate programme for three years.

NITDA Scholarship 2023 Registration Eligibility:

PhD: Only University and Polytechnic Lecturers with MSc in any Information Technology related field are eligible to apply for sponsorship.
MSc: Holders of First Class or Second Class (Upper) Honours Bachelor’s degree, in Information Technology related field and Law.
