Job Description
- This job role articulates an effective inventory management framework that meets current and future business needs in respect of materials planning, scheduling, warehousing and timely closure of requisitions.
- This job role articulates an effective inventory management framework that meets current and future business needs in respect of materials planning, scheduling, warehousing and timely closure of requisitions.
Job Responsibilities
- Review and suggest improvement to current inventory management system.
- Safeguards warehouse operations and materials by establishing security procedures and protocols.
- Efficient coordination of warehouse activities and stock taking exercise in conjunction with other stakeholders, as approved by the management.
- Prepares materials schedule for replenishment in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
- Coordinates the activities of materials management officers across the IBEDC’s area of operations.
- Preparation of periodic and ad-hoc reports to management and relevant stakeholders.
- Performs other sundry assignments as stipulated by the CARPO.
Job Requirements
- A Bachelor’s Degree in any field.
- 10 years’ work experience, with at least 6 years at Management level.
- Membership of relevant professional bodies.
- A postgraduate professional certificate in relevant field. (Added advantage).
