Bookkeeper at Hotel Capitol

Hotel Capitol is a modern and contemporary hotel that offers not only luxury but comfort at its best. The three-star hotel is strategically located at the heart of Omole Phase 1, making it easily assessable with excellent road networks to other parts of the mainland and the city of Lagos as a whole. The 28-room Hotel offers tastefully furnished deluxe executive and super executive rooms as well as one- and two-bedroom luxury suites.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Bookkeeper

Location: Ojodu-Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

  • The job responsibilities include creating, maintaining, and providing various reports and summaries including operational drive and trend to the operation manager;
  • Assist in developing compliance with accounting procedures, systems, and practices, communicate with restaurants/hotels regarding the discrepancies found in daily/weekly reporting and ensure resolution of outstanding issues;
  • Works with manager to ensure reporting variances;
  • Prepare various reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends;
  • Proposes and implements process improvement for areas of responsibility and completes the monthly closing process.
  • Assist in the recording of Hotel Revenue and Expenses
  • Assist in the monitoring of hotel inventories
  • Assist in the general administration of the hotel

Requirements

  • Interested candidates should possess a minimum of OND / HND qualification
  • Reside within Ogba, Ojodu, Ikeja and Agege axis
