We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Pharmacist
Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Responsibilities
- Monitoring patient adherence to medications and providing counsel on how to take medications properly.
- Providing information on disease prevention and treatment, drug interactions, and possible side effects of medications.
- Counseling patients about the use of prescription drugs such as antibiotics or pain relievers.
- Providing information about medication use and abuse to patients, families, and other health care providers
- Meeting with patients one on one or in groups to discuss medications and disease states.
- Administering medications such as injections, inhalers, creams, ointments, and pills.
- Preparing and maintaining drug inventories, ordering supplies, reviewing drug records, and preparing labels for prescriptions.
- Educating patients on the proper use of over-the-counter medications such as pain relievers or allergy medications
- Explaining the purpose of prescription medications to patients and monitoring their use of the medications
- Maintaining an up to date customer database, chronic care medication patient list and knowledge of regular customers.
- Counsel on medicine use, disease conditions management and preventive methods
- Supervise Health Care Assistants.
- Inventory Control Monitoring: Reduce the number of expired drugs and out of stock to zero percent.
- 90% reduced adverse drug reaction reporting.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy.
- 3 – 10 years work experience.
Salary
N150,000 – N200,000 monthly
