The $25,050 “Be Bold” Scholarship is a no-essay scholarship that will be awarded to the applicant with the boldest profile. It takes less than 2 minutes to apply.
To us, boldest does not mean “best”, or “most accomplished”. Being bold means being:

The scholarship will be awarded to the student whose profile is most bold, according to these characteristics.

We are seeking bright minds with a desire to heighten national awareness via our social media campaign to end the dehumanizing forces of human trafficking and child exploitation.
Eligibility requirements
A) Must be a current high school senior or college freshman, sophomore, or junior.
B) Plan to attend an accredited college, university, or community college in the upcoming academic year.
C) Be a U.S. Citizen or permanent resident.
D) Have a GPA of 2.50 or higher.
Submission requirements.
Prepare and submit an essay (minimum of 250 words and maximum of 750 words) based upon any of the following topics:
A) Why is it important for companies to be proactive about human trafficking?
B) How do we make those that feel invisible be seen and lower their risk of falling into human trafficking?
C) Why is this a critical time to address human trafficking?
D) How do we make younger generations more aware and vigilant (for themselves and others)?
E) How does the All for Humanity Alliance to end trafficking improve society?

Girls Impact the World Scholarship Awards
The ConnectHER Film Festival is an international youth competition that welcomes short films about issues that impact women and girls. Before making a film for submission, please read all of the following entry requirements and FAQs. We are excited to see your submissions! Good luck!
A) Films must focus on one of our topic areas. Categories include global girls’ education, women and work, ending violence against women, women refugees, women’s global health issues, women and the environment, women, and girls in tech, and redefining beauty.
B) We accept every type of filmmaking form and style; whether animation or live-action, documentary or narrative.
C) Filmmakers must be 13 to 25 years old at the submission date. That means that scripts, storyboards, directing, cinematography, editing, etc., must be done by people who meet this age requirement. Actors can be any age.
D) Films must be original works that have not yet been screened at other major film festivals.
E) Films must have been completed after January 1.
F) Films must be 3 to 6 minutes long.
G) Film file formats accepted are .mov and .mp4. HD resolution and optimized sound quality are highly preferred. Digital submission through Google Drive is preferred, but WeTransfer or Dropbox also works.
H) All films must be subtitled in English.
I) Films must be submitted by the deadline to qualify. No late submissions will be accepted.
J) If your film contains any graphic content, include a warning near the beginning of the film. ConnectHER has full discretion about accepting films, particularly in instances where film submissions contain nudity, profanity, violence, or sexually explicit content.
K) PowerPoints will not be accepted. Films must have some cinematic value.
